Jim Clough
President, Schwan's Food Service, Inc.
Jim Clough is a tenured foodservice industry veteran with over 25 years experience
holding senior level positions in sales, marketing and executive management. Prior
to his current position with Schwan's Food Service, Inc., Jim enjoyed working for
Fresh Start Bakeries, Heinz Foodservice and ConAgra Foods — two of North America's
largest packaged food companies.
Jim has been part of winning teams selling national brands, private brands and proprietary
products. He has managed and grown many consumer and business to business brand
equities such as The Max, La Francaise, Pennant, Healthy Choice® and Hunt's®.
Mr. Clough has worked in restaurants, sold to restaurants and assisted in marketing
at the restaurant level. He has worked extensively developing business strategies
for foodservice, in-store bakery, retail, club store and industrial channels.
Jim is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA). He has also served on supplier advisory boards
for NFRA, SFM, IFDA and DOT Foods. Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the University of Akron, Akron, OH, and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from Baker University, Baldwin City, KS.
